Please read these terms carefully before using JuanFix services.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using JuanFix services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

JuanFix is a free on-demand home services platform that connects customers with skilled service providers (taskers) for various home maintenance and repair services including but not limited to:
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Booking and Service Agreement
4.1 Booking Process
All service bookings are subject to tasker availability and confirmation. Booking requests do not guarantee service provision until accepted by a qualified tasker. JuanFix does not charge any booking fees to customers and has no payment system integrated into the platform.
4.2 Service Requirements
Customers must provide accurate service descriptions, location information, and any special requirements at the time of booking.
4.3 Access to Property
Customers must ensure taskers have safe and reasonable access to the work area during scheduled service times.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellation
- Free cancellation: Available at any time with a valid reason before the tasker begins traveling to your location
- Tasker en route: Once the tasker is traveling to your location, cancellation may not be possible
- Service in progress: No cancellation allowed once the tasker has begun the service
Valid Reasons for Cancellation Include:
- Emergency situations
- Sudden illness or health issues
- Unexpected work or family obligations
- Weather-related safety concerns
- Property access issues beyond customer control
5.2 Tasker Cancellation
Taskers may cancel bookings due to emergencies, unforeseen circumstances, or when they are unable to fulfill the service requirements at the customer's location. Customers will be notified immediately and can rebook with another available tasker.
5.3 Rescheduling
Both customers and taskers may request rescheduling at any time with a valid reason. Rescheduling is subject to mutual agreement and tasker availability.
No fees are charged for cancellations or rescheduling when valid reasons are provided.
6. Payment and Pricing Terms
6.1 No Payment System
Important Payment Information
JuanFix does not have any integrated payment system. All payments are handled directly between customers and taskers outside of the platform.
JuanFix is not responsible for any payment disputes or transactions between customers and taskers.
6.2 Price Negotiation Process
Required: Call Tasker First
Before booking any service, customers must call the tasker directly to:
- Discuss service requirements and scope of work
- Negotiate and agree on service pricing
- Confirm availability and scheduling
- Agree on payment method and timing
6.3 Payment Arrangements
All payment arrangements are made directly between customers and taskers. Payment is typically due after service completion, but specific terms should be agreed upon during the initial phone conversation.
Common Payment Methods (Customer & Tasker Agreement):
- Cash payment upon service completion
- Digital payment methods (GCash, PayMaya, bank transfer)
- Installment payments (for larger projects, if agreed)
6.4 Pricing Variables
Service pricing may vary based on several factors that should be discussed during the initial phone call:
- Service complexity and difficulty level
- Time required to complete the job
- Materials and tools needed
- Location and travel distance
- Urgency and scheduling preferences
6.5 Tasker Subscription plans
Taskers must subscribe to access the JuanFix platform. Subscription fees are the only charges handled by JuanFix:

Important: JuanFix is not involved in service pricing or payment collection between customers and taskers.
7. Quality Assurance and Warranty
7.1 Service Quality
JuanFix connects customers with verified taskers, but service quality assurance and warranties are the responsibility of individual taskers. Any warranty terms should be negotiated directly with the tasker.
7.2 Satisfaction and Disputes
If you're not satisfied with the service, please first try to resolve the issue directly with the tasker. For unresolved disputes, you may contact JuanFix support for assistance, but resolution depends on the cooperation of both parties.
8. Tasker Verification and Standards
JuanFix verifies tasker credentials and qualifications, but taskers operate as independent contractors. They are responsible for their own work quality, customer satisfaction, and any service-related issues.
9. Liability and Insurance
9.1 JuanFix Liability
JuanFix acts solely as a connecting platform. We are not responsible for service quality, payment disputes, damages, or any issues arising from the service transaction between customers and taskers.
9.2 Tasker Responsibility
Taskers are independent contractors fully responsible for their work, insurance coverage, and any damages or issues arising from their services.
9.3 Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for clearly communicating requirements, ensuring property access, securing valuables, and making mutually agreed payments to taskers.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and protect your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. We only collect and use information necessary to provide our platform services.
11. Prohibited Uses
You may not use JuanFix services for:
- Illegal activities or purposes
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior
- Providing false or misleading information
- Bypassing the platform for direct transactions without proper communication
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Resolution Process
For service-related disputes, customers and taskers should first attempt direct resolution. JuanFix can provide mediation assistance but cannot guarantee resolution of payment or service quality disputes.
12.2 Platform Disputes
Disputes related to platform usage, account issues, or terms violations will be handled through our customer service team and may be resolved through mediation or arbitration as per Philippine laws.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate their use of the platform at any time. JuanFix reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms. Tasker subscription cancellation results in immediate loss of platform access.
14. Changes to Terms
JuanFix reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications at least 30 days before implementation.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of the Philippines.
